Rock Rapids Virtual Building and Smart Site

The Rock Rapids Smart Site and Virtual Building is located in Lyon County in the Northwest corner of the state of Iowa.

The Rock Rapids Smart Site is 34.4 acres located on N. 2nd Avenue E. near County Highway K52 Harrison Avenue in Rock Rapids, Iowa. The site has direct access to State Highway 9 with a proposed future street planned to serve the seven lots available. The Industrial Park is zoned heavy industry and offers full infrastructure, including fiber, natural gas, electricity, and water.

The Virtual Building is designed for manufacturing operations but can be adapted for a distribution facility as well.  It is designed as a 50,000 square foot facility with 24 to 34 foot high ceilings, four loading docks, and 5,500 square feet of office space. As proposed, the virtual building, can be constructed in six months based on a timeline that has been developed by Project Architects.  It can also be expanded to 100,000 square feet.
